Off of curve road in San Carlos was a caleche road.  For many years this little road led to Mr. Sirs home and many unusual things happened in this area.  Explosive devices, strange animal noises and unusual activity in the sky have all been reported here.  Don’t think for a moment “Nothing happens in the Valley.”  UFO phenomena is everywhere, just look up.

SOS: Last time you told me of some UFO phenomena that ranks in the “sighting” classification.  The “sightings” classifications  means the UFO is more than 500 ft away and includes descriptions such as “Daylight Discs” or “Nocturnal Lights”.  From what you have already described to me the events you are telling me about fall in the Close Encounter of the First Kind.

“A close encounter of the first kind is described as a sighting of one or more unidentified flying object within about 500 ft.”

Mr. Sir: Yea, this was a sighting I will always remember because I have never seen any UFO so close before.  Usually just lights in the sky but this stuff happened very close to my house and my wife saw the same thing.

SOS: Ok, so set the scene for me…what happened?  The dogs were fighting right?

Mr. Sir: Yea the lights in the sky was something we always saw and me, my wife and the kids would sit out side and watch but this night we  had already gone inside and the kids were in bed.  We had a wood frame house that did not have a foundation.  It sat on concrete blocks or piers.  At that time we had two great dogs, very smart and loyal.  Any way our neighbors  three houses down had a few pit bulls an those dogs were mean and always getting in fights. This night also in the late 1980′s their dogs got loose and attacked our dogs.  The  commotion ended up under our house where one of our dogs was hurt pretty bad and it was obvious she would need to be put down.  So, we were out side and since this was not the first time those pit bulls had killed a dog we were pretty angry.  We called the cops.  At that time we were out side city limits so the county cops pertained to our location.  While we were waiting outside I noticed a light to the south of us.  I didn’t pay too much attention because I was upset about my dog and my kids were right inside and asking questions wanting to get out

SOS to Sir Jr: Do you remember this?

Sir Jr: I remember waking up because of the dog fight.  My window  was facing the south and we had no ac so the windows were open.  I remember seeing my Dad looking over the corn fields and I even saw an orange light.  He told me to go to bed.

SOS: Please continue Mr. Sir

Mr. Sir: So I told my son to go back to bed and I just kept my eyes on this glowing light.  It got closer and closer.  It was three hours and the cops still hadn’t got there.  By that time though this light had come so close I had no doubts as to what I wasn’t seeing.  This was not a plane or blimp.  To the south of us was a cornfield then a canal or flood way.  To the immediate south of the canal is a dirt road and big mounds of dirt that I guess came out of the canals.  I wouldn’t call them hills, more like mounds of dirt the kids would drag their bikes up and ride down.  You know the valley, this night was windy and this thing just kept getting closer and closer.  It passed over the mounds but didn’t cross the canal.

SOS: Wait, how could you tell?

Mr. Sir: I could see it lighting up the mound and down the side of the mound.  It continued moving to the west very slowly.

SOS: By now this object was pretty close wouldn’t you say?

Mr. Sir: Yea, it was maybe one and a half football fields away.

SOS: You must have a better view of it now can you describe it in more detail?

Mr. Sir: Sure, it was metallic and kinda look like a mobile home with port holes on the side.  The portholes had some kind of inner orange light and I thought I could see some motion inside but I cant be sure.

So this thing was travailing against the wind very slowly and very steadily.  It passed behind the two houses and lit up the trees.

SOS: Did you ever contact the people from those houses?

Mr. Sir: No I never ask them anything

SOS: Continue please, then what happened

Mr. Sir: Well this object was moving over/behind the houses it started to drop down, down, down.  It dropped down behind the mounds and disappeared.

SOS: Did the cops ever show up.

Mr. Sir: (laughing)  Yea!  As soon as this thing dropped out of sight the damn cops turn on to the caleche road!  How’s that for convenient!

SOS: Mr Sir, Thank you so much this was interesting.  Do you have any more to share with us?

Mr. Sir: Well, I have some family down the street who had some very weird stuff happen to them.

SOS: Oh yea?  Like what?

Mr. Sir: Well my sister in law saw a blue man.

SOS: A what?
